Arcadia
Once acres of citrus groves, this neighborhood sits at the base of Camelback Mountain and straddles Phoenix and Scottsdale. What makes Arcadia unique are the green lawns and mature trees, not found in other parts of the Valley. Recently, renovation and remodeling projects have dominated the area. 1950s tract homes are being replaced by large, custom homes that sell for some of the highest prices in the Valley. The schools in the area are numerous and great! Ideally located between Old Town Scottsdale and the Biltmore area of Phoenix, Arcadia is convenient to some of the best shopping and restaurants in the Valley. The airport and downtown Phoenix are just minutes away. The general Arcadia area is made up of several different neighborhoods: Arcadia Proper, Lower Arcadia and Arcadia Lite.
